Perth Amboy High School - Clap Out Ceremony
The Perth Amboy High School Class of 2026 participated in a “Clap Out” ceremony. Seniors, dressed in their graduation caps and gowns, walked the hallways of their former elementary schools to the cheers and applause of younger students and staff. This was truly a memorable day for everyone, as it highlighted how our graduates serve as role models for the younger students in our community.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures 2025-2026:
Efficient drop-off and pick-up procedures are crucial for the safety of all students. Any parent, guardian, or emergency contact picking up your child must provide identification. Kindly remember that all emergency contact information must be updated as we cannot release your child to an adult who is not on the emergency list.
Arrival Procedures
Students will be permitted to enter school at 8:10 a.m. If students arrive prior to 8:35 a.m., they must have a book or educational resource. Electronic games and toys are not permitted.
Dismissal Procedures
Students must be picked up by an approved adult by 3:05 p.m. Adults who are transporting students by vehicle must park and walk to the door to pick up their child so we can verify their identification. No vehicles may park in front of the main school entrance at dismissal.
Students in grades K-2 will be dismissed from door 20 near the playground. There will be a gate designated for each grade level.
Students in grade 3 will be dismissed from door 3. Students in grade 4 will be dismissed from door 4. Students in grade 5 will be dismissed from door 7. Doors 3-5 are located near the Media Center.
Students in grades 3-5 with a sibling in grades K-2 will be dismissed with their younger sibling from door 20.
All students who are not picked up by 3:05 will be brought to the main school entrance and wait in the cafeteria. All students who are picked up after 3:10 will be signed out.
